Common Questions:

Will my university approve this as a field placement?

We are a Joint Commission accredited agency and work with university Field Education Directors to become an approved placement site. Bring us your program’s placement requirements and we will coordinate directly with your school.

What kind of experience will I get?

DCS-referred child and family cases: individual therapy, family therapy, trauma-informed assessments, and diagnostic evaluations. This is substantive clinical work — not shadowing.

What does “path to hire upon graduation” mean?

Strong intern performers are offered Associate Therapist positions ($40–$50/hr, 20–25 hrs/week) when they complete their degree. You begin accumulating supervised licensure hours immediately — with the same clients and supervision team you already know.

Is the placement paid?

Compensation is structured in coordination with your program’s requirements — some programs have specific rules about paid placements. Connect with us at the table and we will work through the details with you and your program coordinator.
